La primera jornada de la quinta edición del Open de Córdoba rompió un récord en la historia del torneo. Bernabé Zapata ganó en el duelo con Roberto Carballés en el partido más largo que se ha jugado en el certamen, durando 3 horas y 26 minutos.
La marca anterior la estableció otro partido con presencia española entre Albert Ramos y Pablo Andújar en 2020, que duró 3 horas y 20 minutos.
